The Chamber of Commerce is a growing and dynamic resource for the Lakeland Community. Through events and publications, the Chamber offers members valuable and cost-effective advertising and marketing opportunities; opportunities that are truly shaping Lakeland's future. The Catalyst Campaign drives the Chamber's budget each year. By combining all advertising, sponsorship and membership resources into one directed campaign, the Chamber is able to produce a confident budget and allow Chamber supporters and advertisers to do the same.

Each year, Chamber-member companies support teams of volunteers who spread the word about the Chamber and its business-building programs and services. The partnerships formed during the Catalyst Campaign support Chamber programs and events, but also provide outstanding recognition and return on investment for members.

This summer brings another edition of the Chamber's total resource initiative. Following the success of the 2006 & 2007 campaigns, this year's Catalyst Campaign will kick off with over 20 teams and more than 120 volunteers organized to market Chamber opportunities. Acting as a true catalyst for business, over 25 percent of the Chamber's annual budget is secured through the campaign, all of which is returned to Chamber members through business building programs and events, as well as initiatives that benefit the entire Lakeland community.

Lead by Campaign Chair Nancy Cattarius (WONN/WPCV/WLKF/WWRZ Radio) and Vice Chairs Scott Gardner (SunTrust Bank), Kathryn Koch-O'Malley (Lanier Upshaw, inc.), Phil Wegman (Furr & Wegman Architects PA), and Walker Wilkerson (The NCT Group CPA's), our volunteer teams champion a goal of $395,000.
